About Sugar Piggy: Hold and Win

Sugar Piggy is a Hold & win high-volatility slot that runs on a candy-shop theme. Winning clusters collapse and remaining symbols drop to refill the empty cells. This can chain into a second or third hit on the same spin.

Key Features Collapsing symbols cascade, Bonus Game (Coin collection), Super Bonus Game with Super Coin wild, Grand Jackpot 5000.00 for full grid fill

Two separate Hold and Win rounds sit behind the base game: the Bonus Game and the Super Bonus Game. Each is built around collecting Coin symbols and merging their values. A side mechanic called the Sugar Piggy Feature can add extra coins to the grid, improving the odds of reaching either bonus trigger. Players spinning Sugar Piggy online are chasing a capped 10,000x bet ceiling. That ceiling is reached fastest through the bonus rounds rather than base-game clusters.

Visuals & Design

The symbol set leans fully into the confectionery theme. A pink lollipop with a red swirl, a green flower-shaped candy, and a blue candy shoe sit alongside red hearts and orange ovals. Coin and Super Coin symbols carry printed numeric values rather than plain icons.

Collapsing Symbols

A cluster pays whenever 8 or more matching symbols land anywhere on the 6×5 grid. Position does not matter the way it does on a payline slot. Only the total count of connected matching symbols counts. That count also decides the payout tier. 8–9 symbols pay the lowest multiplier, 10–11 pay more, and 12 or more pays the top rate for that symbol.

Winning cluster of 8 or more matching candies collapsing on the grid

Eight matching candies anywhere on the grid, and the cluster pays. Once a win lands, every symbol in that cluster is removed from the grid and the symbols above fall to fill the gaps. This grid refill can immediately form a new cluster of 8+, which collapses again in the same cascade. The chain keeps going until a drop produces no new matching cluster of 8 or more.

Sugar Piggy Feature

Any Coin symbol that lands in the base game carries a chance to trigger the Sugar Piggy Feature. When it fires, extra Coin symbols are added to the grid, pushing the total count closer to the 6+ needed to launch the Bonus Game. A Super Coin works the same way for the Super Bonus Game trigger, adding extra symbols toward that separate threshold.

Cascade refill Piggy Feature as symbols drop into empty cells after a collapse

This feature is a probability layer sitting above the normal symbol drop, not a guaranteed top-up. It can add coins on one spin and stay silent on the next several spins. It also does not replace the Bonus Game itself – it only improves the chance of collecting enough Coin symbols to reach it.

Hold and Win Bonus Rounds

Sugar Piggy Hold and Win runs two separate Hold and Win rounds: the Bonus Game and the Super Bonus Game. Both trigger from collecting 6 or more Coin symbols in the base game, with Super Coin symbols counting toward that total. Inside either round, coins respin, same-colored coins merge into one, and colored multiplier symbols can multiply the coins still on the grid.

Bonus Game

The Bonus Game launches once 6+ Coin symbols land in the base game. During the round, only Coin, Jackpot, and Multiplier symbols appear on the reels. Each Coin carries a value of 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 4x, or 5x the bet. When 8 or more coins of the same color sit on the grid, they merge into a single coin at the end of that spin.

The round opens with 3 respins, and every new symbol that lands resets the respin counter back to 3. Play continues until the respins run out or all 30 cells fill. At that point every coin value on the grid is added into one payout. Multiplier symbols come in four colors – purple, blue, green, and red – worth x2, x3, x5, or x10.

Super Bonus Game

The Super Bonus Game needs the same 6+ Coin symbols, but at least one of them must be a Super Coin. Three regular coins plus three Super Coins also reaches the threshold. The reels here show Coin, Super Coin, and Multiplier symbols. Super Coin acts as a wild: it merges with coins of any color and can be multiplied by a multiplier of any color.

As in the Bonus Game, 8 or more same-colored coins merge into one, and a Super Coin in that group still allows the merge. Respins and the end condition match the standard round – 3 respins, reset on every new landing symbol. Multiplier values run wider here: x2, x3, x5, x10, x15, or x20 across the same four colors. The x20 ceiling is exclusive to the Super Bonus Game and never appears in the standard Bonus Game.

Bonus Game Jackpots

Filling all 30 cells of the grid during either Hold and Win round triggers the Grand Jackpot, a fixed 5000.00 payout. Special Coin symbols can also appear at random during a bonus round. Each one can trigger the Major (100.00), Minor (50.00), or Mini (25.00) jackpot on its own, outside of a full grid. All four jackpot tiers pay fixed cash amounts rather than bet multipliers.

Symbols & Paytable

Every payout here is a multiplier of the total bet. It scales by how many matching symbols sit in the winning cluster: 8–9, 10–11, or 12 or more. Wild substitutes for every paying symbol except Coin and Super Coin. Coin and Super Coin never pay in the base game on their own. They exist purely to trigger and play inside the bonus rounds.

Symbol 8–9 10–11 12+
Wild symbol fluffy Substitutes all symbols except Coin and Super Coin
Red lollipop candy symbol with red swirl 5.00x 10.00x 50.00x

Buy Bonus Game

Sugar Piggy: Hold and Win lets players buy a bonus round directly instead of waiting on the 6+ Coin trigger. Random Bonus Game costs 100x the base bet and runs with x2, x3, x5, or x10 multipliers. Random Super Bonus Game costs 200x the base bet and carries the full x2, x3, x5, x10, x15, x20 range.

Option Cost Multipliers
Random Bonus Game 100x bet x2, x3, x5, x10
Random Super Bonus Game 200x bet x2, x3, x5, x10, x15, x20
Extra Bet Feature +50% of bet Increases trigger chance for both bonus modes

A separate Extra Bet Feature costs an additional 50% of the bet. It raises the trigger chance for both the Bonus Game and the Super Bonus Game. It does not buy a round outright – it only improves the odds of landing one naturally.

RTP and Game Variance

Sugar Piggy: Hold and Win runs at a 96% RTP. Volatility is high, with bets ranging from $0.20 to $100 per spin. The win cap sits at 10,000x bet. Once a round's total payout reaches that ceiling, the round ends immediately and the capped amount is paid out.

High volatility here means long stretches without a Hold and Win round. Occasional large payouts follow once the Bonus Game or Super Bonus Game triggers. Bankroll planning should account for a series of base-game spins without a bonus rather than expecting frequent smaller wins.

Why Sugar Piggy Still Draws Players

Two Hold and Win rounds, one Grand Jackpot: that combination is what separates this title from a single-bonus cluster slot. The Bonus Game caps its multiplier at x10. The Super Bonus Game pushes to x20 through the same coin-merge mechanic plus a wild Super Coin. Both rounds can also be purchased directly rather than left to chance. That gives players a choice between the cheaper, lower-ceiling round and the pricier one with double the multiplier range.

Demo vs Real Money

Testing the Sugar Piggy slot in demo mode reproduces the same 96% RTP and high volatility as the real-money version, just without real payouts. Jackpot screens for Major, Minor, Mini, and Grand still display during demo bonus rounds, but no cash is actually awarded for any of them. Switching to real money requires a deposit and a casino chosen from the list on this page.

FAQ

A cluster pays once 8 or more matching symbols land anywhere on the grid. Sugar Piggy uses cluster pays instead of paylines, so the position of the symbols does not matter.

The Bonus Game caps its colored multipliers at x10 and uses only Coin, Jackpot, and Multiplier symbols. The Super Bonus Game requires at least one Super Coin to trigger and allows multipliers up to x20.

It can add extra Coin or Super Coin symbols to the grid when a Coin lands in the base game. It only raises the odds of reaching the 6+ trigger – it never guarantees the Bonus Game or Super Bonus Game will start.

Filling every cell in the Bonus Game or Super Bonus Game triggers the Grand Jackpot, a fixed payout of 5000.00. This applies in either of the two Hold and Win rounds.

Random Bonus Game costs 100x the bet and Random Super Bonus Game costs 200x the bet. An Extra Bet Feature is also available for +50% of the bet, raising the chance of triggering either round naturally.

The maximum win is capped at 10,000x the bet. Once a round's total payout reaches that figure, the round ends immediately and the capped amount is paid.
